Amy Coopersmith, ARNP, is the founder of Amethyst Wellness and brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare to the practice she built. She holds a doctorate and board certification in family nursing, with an exceptional educational background that includes an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University (1995), a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Diego (2002), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida (2012).

Coopersmith also holds certifications in nutrition and wellness, children’s fitness, and holistic nutritional consulting, and is trained in laser treatments and cosmetic procedures including Botox® and dermal fillers. She served in the United States Army Nurse Corps for more than ten years, achieving the rank of Major. After relocating to Palm Coast in 2006, she spent eight years as a primary care nurse practitioner before channeling her expertise and vision into founding Amethyst Wellness.

Amy built Amethyst Wellness around a team of skilled practitioners who share her commitment to personalized, high-quality care — ensuring every patient receives the attention and expertise they deserve.

Shauna Sandford, ARNP, is the lead practitioner at Amethyst Wellness and is highly sought after for her specialized training in hormone replacement therapy, PDO threads, and injectables. Her women’s health background gives her a uniquely holistic perspective — she understands not just the procedure, but the patient behind it.

Shauna earned her nursing degree from the Denver School of Nursing in 2012 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2019. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse — one of the most demanding and deeply personal settings in clinical care — before transitioning into women’s health, where she developed a passion for helping patients feel their best at every stage of life.

That foundation informs everything about the way Shauna practices today. At Amethyst Wellness, she combines clinical precision with a genuine commitment to personalized care, taking the time to understand each patient’s goals and create a treatment plan that reflects their unique needs. Whether you’re exploring hormone therapy for the first time or looking for a trusted provider for injectables and aesthetic treatments, Shauna brings both the expertise and the attentiveness to guide you with confidence. Originally from Littleton, CO, Shauna relocated to Florida in 2022 and has quickly become a trusted and beloved member of the Palm Coast community.

Debi Long is a certified, licensed esthetician at Amethyst Wellness. She began her journey in esthetics due to a lifelong interest in skincare and a desire to help others look their best. She specializes in several anti-aging and acne treatments and provides skin care consultations to evaluate skin conditions and appearance. She specializes in numerous aesthetic treatments, including facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, microcurrent, oxygen infusion, high-frequency facials, and red and blue light therapy.

Marjorie Moore has been a Nationally Registered and Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) since 2007 and holds a degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. She is specially trained in Neveskin™ procedures and chemical peels. Her love of medicine stems from her fascination with how the human body can heal itself and how the mind plays such a significant role in overall health. What she loves most, though, is helping people feel better.

Ilona is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in aesthetic medicine and wellness. She is Biote Certified in Hormone Replacement Therapy, providing personalized care for clients seeking balance, energy, and improved overall well-being through evidence-based hormone optimization. With a focus on both beauty and health, Ilona offers customized treatment plans including aesthetic injectables, hormone replacement therapy, and wellness therapies. She is known for her patient-centered approach, attention to detail, and commitment to helping each client feel confident, refreshed, and their best self—inside and out.
