Amy Coopersmith, ARNP, brings over 25 years of invaluable experience in healthcare to her role as the lead practitioner at Amethyst Wellness. She holds a doctorate and board certification in family nursing and an exceptional educational background. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in 1995, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Diego in 2002. In 2012, she furthered her education by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida.

Coopersmith also holds certifications in nutrition and wellness, children’s fitness, and holistic nutritional consulting and is trained in laser treatments and cosmetic procedures, including the administration of Botox® and dermal fillers. Coopersmith served in the United States Army Nurse Corps for more than ten years, where she achieved the rank of Major. Since relocating to Palm Coast in 2006, Amy has been an integral part of the local healthcare community, spending eight years as a primary care nurse practitioner before founding Amethyst Wellness.

Shauna Sandford, ARNP, obtained her nursing degree from the Denver School of Nursing in 2012, followed by a Master of Science from the University of Cincinnati in 2019. She started her career as a dedicated labor and delivery nurse and later transitioned into becoming a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She now specializes in hormone replacement therapy and brings a wealth of expertise in health and wellness to her role at Amethyst Wellness. Shauna was born and raised in Littleton, CO, and moved to Florida in 2022.

Debi Long is a certified, licensed esthetician at Amethyst Wellness. She began her journey in esthetics due to a lifelong interest in skincare and a desire to help others look their best. She specializes in several anti-aging and acne treatments and provides skin care consultations to evaluate skin conditions and appearance. She specializes in numerous aesthetic treatments, including facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, microcurrent, oxygen infusion, high-frequency facials, and red and blue light therapy.

Marjorie Moore has been a Nationally Registered and Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) since 2007 and holds a degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. She is specially trained in Cryoskin procedures and chemical peels. Her love of medicine stems from her fascination with how the human body can heal itself and how the mind plays such a significant role in overall health. What she loves most, though, is helping people feel better.
