Peptides for Immunity

Peptides for Immunity

Attention, this is not a drill.

Amethyst Wellness is excited to offer peptide therapy for immunity. Below, I identify 2 such peptides that research shows are effective against viral attack and replication. I have much more research for those of you who want it. Please feel free to contact me, and I will be glad to share.

Why Peptides? Because they work!!! Peptides have been proven to increase the immune response!

What are Peptides? Simply, they are amino acids put together in a particular sequence. They are signals that the body sends out to get target organs to do things.

If you are immunocompromised this is a perfect product for you. If you have respiratory problems this is the perfect product for you. If you are just scared of the Coronavirus and want to build your immunity, this is the perfect product for you!

The products mentioned below have such a good safety profile that side effects for them were actually lower than placebo in the trials. There are really no contraindications for either of them.

Thymosin alpha-1 (TA-1)

Thymosin alpha-1 is the most recommend peptide for immune stimulation.  This should be used as a treatment adjuvant and a prophylactic aid can help with may conditions beyond viral illness!

After age 30 your thymus gland, an important part of your immune system begins to degenerate.

Thymosin Alpha -1 was one of the first peptides isolated and identified and is derived from the thymus gland tissue.

How does it work?

It up-regulates cytokines which are interleukins involved with the immune response. In addition, it identifies the immune system cells that have been infected with the Coronavirus. The Coronavirus is an envelope virus. That means that it is difficult for the immune system to identify until it has entered the cell and caused destruction.

Thymosin Alpha-1 has strong antiviral, anti-bacterial and anti- fungal properties. It has been shown to be effective in HIV, and Hepatitis B and C infections. Lyme’s disease, Cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Epstein-Barre (EBV) infections also respond well to this peptide.

It has also been shown to be effective against many different cancers and can be added on to treatment regimens. It can even be helpful in making immunizations work more effectively.

If you can afford just one Peptide, this is the one I would recommend. You don’t need to be sick. If you are getting ready to travel, this is also a great product.

Selank

This product was designed by Russian biochemists. It is inhaled nasally. I tried this one myself because it was being endorsed for anxiety. To be honest, the first day that I tried it, I was very tired. I didn’t think I wanted to take it anymore, but then I tried it before bed. I had a great night sleep! The next day, I felt relaxed and was able to function well. This just kept improving as the days went on.

Selank is a variant of the immune molecule tufstin and has potent antiviral properties in addition to its neurological effects. It is particularly active in the lung and respiratory tissues. The antiviral characteristics of Selank were evaluated in both in vitro and in vivo against influenza virus strain H3N2 and H5N1 and Herpes virus 1, 2 types. It was shown that Selank may have the prophylactic(preventive) effect during influenza infection and therapeutic effect during herpes virus infection. It could also be helpful for COVID19.

The take home message:

We expect that the peptide manufacturers will soon become overwhelmed with the demand (just like toilet paper manufacturers).
